HTML 5 is Born Old - Quake in HTML 5 Example

Quake was demoed running in HTML 5. Many commentors are saying this shows how Flash is RIP. Did you know Flash could do this in 2007? Silverlight did this in 2008? HTML 5 is evolving nicely, but it is already a step behind Flash and Silverlight.
