Critical data loss bug hits CouchDB 1.0

Last month we wrote about Couch DB, the popular “No SQL” alternative database, reaching its production status as version 1.0. Now it’s turned out that the developers have found a critical bug in the application, potentially causing many users to be using a large volume of data.
