I was actually going to submit this story myself as well ;-) I'm glad that Microsoft is evolving WCF rather than replacing it, as they've done with similar technologies in the past.

The article is interesting to read. I am looking forward to reading more articles, especially on the next version of WCF and the high performance caching layer from Redis.
